Overview:

e-Meals is a browser based application that completely automates the manual process of recording meal orders and preparing chef order charts and driver reports and maintaining a different system for Invoicing and Accounting.

The application can be hosted on an internet server, an intranet server or on a server with Global IP. A client has to register with the service to to avail of its features. The client can place orders for a single day or for weeks at one time, these orders are received by the Meals on Wheels chef who prepars the mean to be delivered by the drivers. All reports (chef reports, driver reports, in house table reports, invoice reports etc) are viewable by the admin and are sorted by clients for a given date range.

Clients can also call in at Meals on Wheels and the Admin can take the orders for the clients. Admin sets different menus for different time periods with the food items that are available and their cost. Meals can be given at a discount and can also be made available in various sizes (large & small). A payment summary is maintained for the amount received and pending amount till date.

The application consists of 3 login types.

1. Admin
The admin can set the menu's, the period for which the menu stay's active, the food items and costs of food items. Admin had access to Invoice reports and client details

2. User
User can take orders on the phone and place them for that specific client. Can view all reports for chef, driver and table.

3. Client
Clients can register and then login to place orders. Clients can also view their payment and order log.
