Main Components
eMerge’s proactive home page includes various informative sections like Khabarein (company newsletter), Knowledge Bank, Opinion Poll etc. The user does not need to check a specific module to see any new additions.

a) News Section
It is just a kind of corporate Newsletter. It contains the information about what’s going on in the organization or for that matter any kind of News. The information is controlled at the Admin level, where you are allowed to attach files to the news for the detailed information. The system provides you the control of number of days, that news could be
displayed on your system.

b) Knowledge Bank
It is the storage of information across the location. The Information can be of any kind that is relevant for the organization or for the employees. For example various articles can be uploaded for sharing across the organization. Clicking on this allows the user to add/share any useful information in the knowledge bank.

c) Suggestion Box
It is the place where user can contribute any kind of suggestions. On clicking suggestion box a new page is shown wherein the user can add any new suggestion and save it.

d) Quote
It is any useful tip of the day. This could be entered by the admin, which will be displayed through out the organization.

e) Opinion Poll
It is to judge the view of all employees on certain topic. In the home page you can see the current opinion poll that is running and the result of the previous poll, anyhow you can
always see the details of the opinion poll of the past too.

f) Alerts
There are various Alerts like new Complaint Logged, any Important Appointment Scheduled, some New Forum or Topic created for discussion, Birthday of any employee in the current month. These all alerts are displayed as soon as the person logs on to the first page of the system.
